TOPS to face PKPU lawsuit

JAKARTA – PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS), a construction provider company, is sued for Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) by PT Solefound Sakti (SS) in the Commercial Court of Central Jakarta District Court.

Quoting the Central Jakarta District Court today (13/12), said lawsuit was filed last week, on December 7, 2022, under case No.354/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2022/PN Niaga Jkt Pst. However, the material and the reasoning behind this claim are yet to be disclosed.

Through its attorney, Haris Marselius Perangin-angin, SH, Solefound Sakti petitioned TOPS to be given a PKPU status for 45 days since the panel of judges read out the verdict. Furthermore, it also requested the court to name and appoint four curators as the Administration Team regarding the case.

From the official website of SS, it is revealed that this company is engaged in the pile foundation service, topographic mapping service, soil compaction testing service, and soil test laboratory provider.

As of November 2020, TOPS’s shares reportedly reached 33.33 billion units, 51.02% of them belong to PT Totalindo Investama Persada, leaving 9.77% of them to PT Mahkota Properti Indo and 39.21% to public investors. (LK/ZH)
