JAKARTA – On Wednesday, April 23, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were still concluded with a net sell. Foreign trades net sold 283.98 million shares on the previous trading day, but today that number has fallen to just 83.84 million shares.

Nevertheless, the volume of foreign transactions today was higher than the volume of almost 3 billion shares on the previous trading day (April 22). There were 4.21 billion shares of stock purchased by foreign investors overall. Foreign investors made a net sell of 83.84 million shares today in relation to a sales volume (foreign sell) of 4.29 billion shares.

In contrast to the past few days, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining issuer, had the greatest net sell today, with 165.21 million shares. BUMI's foreign investors sold 398.23 million shares and bought 233.02 million.

After its foreign investors purchased 33.35 million shares and sold 94.41 million, nickel mining issuer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) followed with a net sell of 61.06 million shares.

Following that, PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB), a gold investment issuer, and mining contractor issuer PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) each saw a net sell of about 36–37 million shares. With a buying volume of about 15 million shares and a selling volume of about 52 million shares, the two issuers' international buying and selling volumes were relatively similar.

After foreigners purchased 26.95 million shares of this e-commerce issuer but sold nearly 56 million shares, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) ended the day with a net sell of 29.01 million shares.

Meanwhile, if GOTO shares were the top seller on the previous trading days, PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares now have the largest net buy. After foreigners purchased 1.56 billion of its shares and sold 1.30 billion, GOTO net bought 256.85 million shares.

With a net buy of 57.15 million shares, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), a metal ore mining firm, came next. Foreign investors purchased about 112 million shares of ANTM, but they also sold 54.84 million.
After 170 million of its shares were purchased by foreigners and 123.04 million were sold, the information technology company PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk (INET) had a net buy of 47.67 million shares.

A net buy of 31.71 million shares then went to PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), an issuer of oil and gas tankers. Its buying volume was only 2.08 million shares, while BULL's foreign buying volume was 33.79 million.
At the bottom, PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk (ACES), a retailer of home equipment, received a net buy of 28.17 million shares, with the impact of the selling of 44.22 million and the acquisition of 72.39 million. (KD)
