JAKARTA – PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), an oil and gas producer, has secured a loan facility worth IDR 8 trillion from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI).

Corporate Secretary of Medco Energi Internasional, Siendy K. Wisandana, said the transaction is part of the company’s or group’s medium to long-term funding strategy.

“Medco signed this term loan agreement with BRI on 26 May 2025, with a tenor of 120 months (10 years) from the date of signing,” according to the disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Wednesday (28/5).

According to the financial statements, MEDC’s total liabilities in 2024 stood at USD 5.58 billion, up 2.57% from USD 5.44 billion in 2023. (DH/ZH)
