JAKARTA — The acquisition of 50.22 million shares of PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN) by PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) was noted in the list of share ownership changes exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, May 27.

The investor's stake in this media industry issuer increased marginally from 5.3% to 5.39% after completing the purchase through PT Panin Sekuritas.

Another shares acquisition was made by PT Digital Praja Makayasa. Through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, this investor acquired 1.87 million shares, or 5.24% of the cleaning equipment producer PT Klinko Karya Imaji.

The controller of PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC), PT Bogamulia Nagadi, purchased an additional 622,300 shares of this pharmaceutical company. The controller's shareholding was raised to 89.62% by the transaction, which was completed through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia.

A further 581,387 shares of financial services company PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were purchased by SMMA's controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala. Following the completion of the transaction through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, its shares increased to 51.49%.

Individual investor Ram Jethmal Punjabi made the last share purchase. He bought half a million shares in PT Tripaar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM) through PT Mandiri Sekuritas. He now owns 71.04% of this producing company.

Conversely, PT Bank HSBC Indonesia facilitated the sale of about 11 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) by HSBC-Fund SVS A/C Chengdong Investment Corp-Self. The investor still owns 10.1% of this mining parent issuer.

Next, 3.84 million shares of PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), the company that owns the franchise license for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Indonesia, were sold by Fidelity Funds. The share percentage of this investor dropped to 7.66% through CITIBANK.

Additionally, through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, cybersecurity service provider PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR) released 2.52 million shares to foreign investor INV Management Pte Ltd. At 41.84%, this investor's shares experienced a minor decline.

Subsequently, PT Harita Jayaraya sold 333,200 shares of bauxite mining issuer PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA). Lastly, 150 thousand shares of PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), an energy company, were sold by PT Panin Sekuritas. (KD)
