JAKARTA – The shareholders of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (BJBR) agreed upon dividend of the fiscal year 2023 of IDR 1 trillion or IDR 95.05 per share. This allocation is equal to 58.27% of total net profit in 2023 of IDR 1.71 trillion.

In the minutes of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) quoted today (4/4), AGMS was attended by shareholders that represent 8.72 billion shares or 82.94% of total shares issued by the company. The decision was approved by 99.87% of the meeting quorum. In addition, shareholders also approve the allocation of 41.73% of total net profit of the fiscal year 2023 of IDR 716.20 billion as retained earings.

In 2023, BJBR booked interest and sharia income of IDR 14.25 trillion, up 4.56% year-on-year (yoy) from 2022 of IDR 13.63 trillion. Net interest and sharia income was recorded at IDR 7.06 trillion, down 15.98% yoy from net interest and sharia income of 2022 of IDR 8.40 trillion.

In 2023, this bank also allocated IDR 1.1 trillion of dividend, or IDR 104.55 per share, from the net profit in 2022. The dividend is equal to 47.73% of total net profit attributable to the parent company of IDR 2.30 trillion. Unrestricted retained earnings were seen at IDR 3.94 trillion, followed by total equity of IDR 14.74 trillion. (LK/ZH)
