JAKARTA. PT Pan Brother Tbk recorded a growth of 10.56% in its sales in the third quarter of 2018 to US$ 447.05 million from US$ 404.34 million year on year (yoy) last year.
The biggest contributor to the total income was the export market, which contributed US$ 414.60 million, while domestic market contributed US$ 32.99 million. Along with the rising sales, costs of goods sold also rose by 10.50% to US$ 382.95 million. During the same period last year, the costs of goods sold was recorded at US$ 348.35 million.
The gross profit of PBRX rose by 10.92% in the third quarter of 2018 to US$ 62.10 million, compared to its last year's level at US$ 55.99 million. PBRX also succeeded to decrease its selling expenses by 15.09% to US$ 9.17 million. For information, its level in 2017 was US$ 10.8 million.
In the end, PBRX gained a current period profit of US$ 11.18 million which can be distributed to its parent company, 20.99 % higher from its 2017 level of US$ 9.24 million.
