PP Properti aims to increase its profit by 18%

JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Perumahan Properti Tbk (PPRO) aims to increase its revenue by 17%  and net profit by 18%, by the end of 2019. In 2018, the company gained Rp 471 billion in net profit and Rp 2.55 trillion in revenue.

As cited from the company's disclosure of information, Taufik Hidayat, President Director of PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO) stated that the company aimed to increase its marketing sales by 20% from the realization in 2018 (Rp 3.48 trillion). "The increase in marketing sales will be positive to increase the revenue and profit target by the end of this year," he said in the press release.

The largest contributor to the marketing sales consisted of Grand Shamaya project (30%), followed by Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon, Surabaya (18%), Westown View, Surabaya (15%), Grand Sungkono Lagoon, Surabaya (13%), and Grand Kamala Lagoon, Kalimalang (6%).

In 2019, the company is optimistic to reach its revenue and profit target due to the additional income from the commercial units and hotel projects that started operating in 2018, such as Prime Park Pekanbaru and Palm Park Hotel Surabaya. The company also will focus to expand its land bank or partnership with other developers. (LK/AR)
