JAKARTA. PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) will buy 20% of the shares of PT Jasamarga Surabaya Mojokerto (JSM) owned by PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA).
Agus Setiawan, Corporate Secretary of JSMR, said that his party was negotiating with WIKA regarding the purchase of JSM shares. "An offer has been made," said Setiawan, as reported by Kontan, last week (15/3).
Setiawan said that the negotiations were carried out through a bidding mechanism to other JSM shareholders. Nevertheless, his party has not announced the results of the evaluation of JSM's stock offer "Jasa Marga has already evaluated the stock offer," Setiawan explained.
At present, JSMR owns 55% of JSM shares. PT Moeladi owns 25% of JSM's shares, while WIKA owns the remaining 20%. JSM has operated 36.27 kilometres of toll roads in Surabaya-Mojokerto in stages from 2011 to 2017. (KR/AR)
