Kartini Sjahrir is appointed as a commissioner in Siloam

JAKARTA - In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO), Kartini Sjahrir was appointed as the company's Independent Commissioner, replacing Farid Harianto.

As cited from the company's disclosure of information, Indra Hertanto, Corporate Secretary of PT Siloam International Hospitals, stated that the company's shareholders had approved the resignation of three of its commissioners, Romeo Fernandez Liedo (Vice President Commissioner), Tjokro Libianto (Commissioner), and Farid Harianto (Independent Commissioner).

SILO's Board of Commissioner consisted of John Riady (President Commissioner), Theo L Sambuaga, John Nicholas Pitonis, Andy Nugroho Purwohardono, Niel Byron Nielson, and Jonathan L Parapak.

The company's shareholders also appointed Phua Meng Kuan and Monica Surjapranata as Directors, replacing Andry and Budi Raharjo Legowo.

For information, Kartini Sjahrir is a politician and the former Chairwomen of Partai Indonesia Baru (PIB). She is the wife of Sjahrir, the founder of PIB. Kartini also served as Indonesian Ambassador in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay (LK/AR).
