Cleo's net sales increased by 35% in 2018

JAKARTA. PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO) recorded significant growth in its net sales over the past year,  which increased by 35%.

Based on the company's financial statement which was published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) website on Monday (25/3) the company recorded double-digit growth both in its topline and bottomline. Its net sales grew by 35%, from Rp 614 billion in 2017 to Rp 831 billion in 2018. Meanwhile, cost of goods sold also rose by 44% year on year (YoY) to Rp 562 billion that year.

Even so, the company's gross profit grew by 19% to Rp 268 billion, while in 2017 it was only Rp 225 billion. As a result, CLEO succeeded in gaining a net profit of Rp 63 billion in 2018, 25% higher than in 2017 (Rp 50 billion).

The largest contributor to the company's revenue was bottled water, which accounts for 36.9% of the company's total revenue or Rp 307 billion. Followed by gallons (Rp. 289 billion) and plastic cups (Rp. 231 billion), each contributing 34% and 27% of the company's net sales. (AM/AR)
