JAKARTA - PT Indonesia Air Asia, a subsidiary of PT Air Asia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) purchased land and office building located at Marsekal Suryadharma N.1, Selapanjang Jaya, Tangerang for Rp 459 billion. The land is not far from Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Cengkareng.
Based on the company's information disclosure, the office building will be used as the company's office. It also helped to save some money for the company. Previously, the company had to spend a considerable amount of money to rent an office.
The company claimed the all the expenses used to rent an office reduced the company's profitability by US$ 5 million per annum. With the purchase of the land and building, the company hoped to increase its profitability in the future. (LK)
