JAKARTA - PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) recorded an outstanding profit performance in 2018 compared to 2017. In 2018, the company generated Rp 1.72 trillion in profit, while in 2017, the company suffered a loss of Rp 2.63 trillion. The profit was made mainly due to the growth of the company's income and the decline in the company's operating expenses.
Based on the company's financial report in 2018, CP Prima gained Rp 7.39 trillion of revenue, up by 12.39% from Rp 6.57 trillion recorded in 2017. The biggest contributor to sales revenue came from food products (Rp 5.61 trillion), followed by food production (Rp 1.36 trillion), french fries (Rp 346.89 billion), and others (Rp 59.82 billion).
The company recorded gross profit of Rp 1.23 trillion, up from Rp 1.16 trillion in 2017. While its operating revenue was recorded at Rp 352.70 billion, much better than operating loss of Rp 1.01 trillion the company suffered in 2017. (LK)
