Indofood wants to acquire all of the remaining IFAR shares

JAKARTA - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) acquired all of Indofood Agri Resources Ltd (IFAR)'s shares which did not belong to the company already. At present, IFAR is controlled by INDF, which is the majority shareholder with 74.34% ownership and is listed at the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).

Based on the company's disclosure of information, the company also received commitments from First Pacific Investments Limited (FPIL) and First Pacific Investments Limited (BVI) Limited which owned 0.14% of IFAR's shares, that they would not sell their shares.

The company wants to pull IFAR's shares from the stock exchange, to provide flexibility for the company's operations. (LK)
