JAKARTA. PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) recorded a loss of Rp 10.88 billion in the first quarter (Q1) this year, due to an increase in cost of revenue
In its financial report, SSIA also revealed a decline in its revenue in Q1 by 9.4% to Rp 823.71 billion, from Rp 909.34 billion in the same quarter last year. Although the decline in revenue was only 9.4%, SSIA was still hampered by an increase in operating expenses.
SSIA's sales expenses in Q1 were Rp. 12.57 billion, bigger than its record in the same quarter last year, which was Rp. 11.92 billion. Meanwhile, the company's general and administrative expenses in this period reached Rp 140.74 billion, while in the previous quarter it was only Rp 134.05 billion.
The company's Earning Per Share (EPS) ratio is -2.34, much lower than the same quarter in the previous year at -1.89. SSIA's Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is currently at the level of 0.68 times, not changing significantly from the same quarter last year. (KR/AR)
