JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has decided to distribute dividends of Rp 990 billion or Rp 72.9 per share for the 2018 fiscal year. The decision was made at the company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) at the Pullman Hotel, Central Jakarta on Thursday (9/5).
The amount is 25% of the company’s 2018 net profit. In that year the company recorded net profit growth of 9.9% year on year (yoy) to Rp 4.6 trillion.
“According to our schedule, [the dividends] will be paid on June 12, 2019,” WSKT Finance & Strategy Director Haris Gunawan told IDNFinancials.com, adding that the company has yet to decide the use of the remaining net profit of 75%.
WSKT’S AGM also announced a change in the company’s Board of Directors. Wahyu Utama Putra has been honourably discharged from his position as Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment Director and replaced by Gunadi. (MS)
