JAKARTA. PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM) is open to the possibility of forming a joint venture (JV) with PT Adaro Energy Tbk's (ADRO) subsidiary PT Alam Tri Abadi.

TRAM CEO Soebianto Hidayat said the company could go ahead with the plan to work on infrastructure projects that supports the logistics of coal mines such as ports and coal transport tracks. "There is an option to form a new JV, and we're open to all options," Mr Hidayat told IDNFinancials.com, Wednesday (22/5).

However, Mr Hidayat said the infrastructure projects could be done by one of TRAM's own subsidiaries. Both options, he added, are still awaiting the results of a feasibility study (FS). "We will have to complete the FS first," he said.

As reported by IDNFinancials.com, TRAM signed an infrastructure and logistics agreement with Alam Tri Abadi on May 2. The contract gives both companies the potential to increase their respective production capacities. (KR/MS)
