JAKARTA - General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUIS) today (27/6) decided to distribute dividends of Rp 6 per share. The value of this dividend increased compared to the previous year of Rp 5 per share.
Thus, the total dividend to be distributed to shareholders is Rp 4.6 billion or 17% of the total 2018 net profit. "We cannot distribute too much dividends to shareholders because we need a substantial investment," said Muhammad Hamid, Director of Radiant Utama Interinsco during the public expose.
For information, last year RUIS recorded a profit of Rp 27.05 billion. This achievement increased compared to the previous year amounting to Rp 20.92 billion. In addition to being distributed as dividends, as much as Rp 1.4 billion will be recorded as a reserve fund and the remaining Rp 21 billion as retained earnings.
The increase in net income in 2018 was supported by revenues which also increased on an annual basis from Rp 1.12 trillion to Rp 1.29 trillion at the end of 2018. (LM)
