JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) officially cooperated with PT Fintek Karya Nusantara, known as LinkAja to improve toll road user services.
With this cooperation, payment of toll tariffs will later use radio frequency identification (RFIF) initiated by JMTO with a consortium team named FLO.
On the other hand, the role of LinkAja in the collaboration mechanism between LinkAja and JMTO is as a source of funds for the purchase of electronic vouchers (VE) which can be used to pay toll tariffs through the FLO application.
"We are currently conducting a limited trial. Later on, LinkAja users who have purchased VE FLO through the LinkAja platform can pass or access special toll gates on the Jasa Marga toll road by using the FLO application that we have developed," explained PT JMTO President Director Septerianto Sanaf as quoted from Kontan.
Later on, FLO application will be connected directly to RFID in the form of a sticker on the vehicle. The initial phase of FLO implementation at Jasa Marga's toll gate will focus on the Jabotabek area after the trial phase has been carried out on the Sedyatmo Toll Road and Bali Mandara Toll Road. (LM)
