Nippon Indosari injects additional capital into Mitra New Grain

JAKARTA. The manufacturer of Sari Roti bread, PT Nippon Indosari Corpora Tbk. injected Rp 1 billion of capital into its subsidiary, PT Mitra New Grain (MNG).

In the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) quoted on Sunday (07/07/2019), Corporate Secretary of Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Sri Mulyana, said that on 3 July 2019, the company injected additional capital of Rp 1 billion to PT MNG. The capital deposit is stated in the deed of increase in issued and paid up capital No. 05 dated 03 July 2019 made before a notary in Jakarta.

MNG's issued and paid-up capital increased from Rp 10 billion to Rp 12 billion. Indosari has a 50% stake in MNG, equivalent to Rp 6 billion.

"There is no material impact on the operational activities, financial condition and business continuity of the company," Mulyana said in the disclosure.

She said that this transaction was done to support the company's business activities. The company established Mitra New Grain together with Rainbow Isle Limited on November 21, 2017. Mitra New Grain is engaged in the production of all types of mixed flour and flour dough which can be used to make cakes, biscuits, and pancakes. (AM/AR)
