Waskita Karya has obtained new contracts with a total value of Rp 7.2 trillion

JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has obtained new contracts with a total value of Rp 7.2 trillion as of May 2019, from several airport and toll road development projects.

Fery Hendriyanto, Operations Director of WSKT, said that the contracts came from the Juanda Airport development project (Rp 623 billion), Makassar Airport (Rp 422 billion), and Istiqlal Mosque (Rp 423 billion). In addition, the company also obtained new contracts from the Becakayu Toll Road Section 2A project (Rp 773 billion), and the rest area in the Bakaheuni – Terbanggi Besar Toll Road Rest (​Rp 343 billion).

Fery added that WSKT obtained potential cash inflow of Rp 63 trillion from its operations in 2019. The cash flow, said Fery, came from turnkey projects (Rp 26.5 trillion), which is targeted to be completed this year. "As well as conventional projects worth Rp. 29 trillion consisting of progress-based projects," explained Fery.

In addition, WSKT will also get additional potential cash inflows of Rp 7.8 trillion. For information, in the first quarter of this year, WSKT recorded revenue of Rp. 8.68 trillion, and net profit of Rp 716.24 billion. (KR/AR)
