JAKARTA - PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP) is ready to compete to meet domestic market demand for raw materials for drinking water pipes through its superior product, Asrene SP4808.
This High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic ore is a raw material for producing high-pressure drinking water pipes which becomes a product highlight of CAP in the 2019 Indowater annual exhibition held at the Jakarta Convention Center, July 17-19 2019. This product is relevant to the implementation of the 2015-2019 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) which prioritizes development in of drinking water supply.
"With the addition of our new Polyethylene plant production capacity of 400KTA which will operate in Q4 2019, we are optimistic that it can help the government meet the needs of national infrastructure development projects for high value-added and high-value products, especially for drinking water supply pipes" said Suryandi, Director STAMP. "This market is still dominated by imports until now," he continued.
