JAKARTA. PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk will still focus on completing several toll roads sections this year and will not divest its assets.
Corporate Secretary of JSMR, Agus said that JSMR would still focus on the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) Elevated and also Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2.
According to him, the two segments are JSMR's priorities to help break down congestion problems in the Jabodetabek area. "We hope that construction can be completed this year and it can be operated after that," Agus said on Friday (19/7).
To pursue the target, Agus said it would rely on several ways of financing to remain on track, one of which was through asset securitization. This method is used by the company, in addition to using other instruments such as bank loans, bond issuance through subsidiaries, RDPT, and KIK-Infra.
Until now, one of JSMR's assets that have been securitized is the Jagorawi toll road section. As of 31 December, JSMR earned Rp 816, 44 billion from the Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi toll road. Agus said that his party would not securitize other assets. (AM/AR)
