JAKARTA - PT Nippon Indosari Corporindo Tbk (ROTI), a bakery company, recorded sales revenue of Rp 1.58 trillion in the first half of 2019. The increase in sales was supported by the addition of production capacity to 5 million bread per day.
Based on the company's information disclosure, the increase in production capacity was caused by the operation of the company's two new factories in Gresik, East Java and Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. In addition, the increase in sales is supported by a sales network of more than 94,000 points in traditional and modern markets.
The company also recorded a profit attributable to the holding company of Rp 101 billion, 150% more compared to the record in the first half of 2018 (Rp 40 billion). The company's net profit margin increased from 3.1% in the first half of 2018 to 6.4%. (LK/AR)
