JAKARTA. Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) suspended the trading of PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) stocks since the first session today, because the company did not follow up on the warning letter or pay its fine.

In the disclosure of information, IDX stated that CMPP had not yet complied with Regulation V.1 of Exchange Regulation No. I-A by 30 June. One of the things monitored by the IDX, is the small portion of public shares in CMPP, which only reached 2.63%.

The largest shareholder of CMPP is PT Fersindo Nusaperkasa with 49.66% stake. In addition, Air Asia Investment Ltd owns 47.71% of CMPP shares.

IDX did not mention when the suspension would be revoked. In the first quarter of this year, CMPP recorded a loss of US$ 93,790. This occurred despite the fact that the airline's revenue reached US$ 1.33 million in that period. (KR/AR)
