JAKARTA - PT Surya Fajar Capital Tbk (SFAN) is expanding its business into the field of financial technology by establishing a new subsidiary in the equity crowdfunding sector. The new company is called PT Surya Capital Equity Fund (SFUND) with a total capital of Rp 2.5 billion.
Evie Peniyanti, Director of PT Surya Fajar Capital Tbk (SFAN), said that the company will control SFUND. "The company injects capital of Rp 2.37 billion, equivalent to 95% of the paid-up capital," he said as quoted from the company's information disclosure. Funds used for the capital injection came from SFAN's internal cash.
According to him, the new subsidiary was established on 7 August 2019. (LK/AR)
