JAKARTA. As of June 2019, PT Bank BTPN Tbk has made Rp 1.26 trillion of net profit, 15% higher than the record from the same period of last year.
"Indeed, the NIM is somewhat depressed since the cost of funds rose," said Managing Director of Bank BTPN, Ongki Wanadjati Dana on Wednesday (14/8).
In addition, since its merger with PT Bank Sumitomo Mitsui Indonesia (SMBCI), Bank BTPN now also provide corporate loans. At present, corporate loans (Rp 75 trillion) is almost half of the total loans provided by the bank.
As of June 2019, the total loans provided by the bank reached Rp 143.4 trillion or 112% higher than the record from the same period of last year. In addition, the company also provided loans for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) (Rp 13.9 trillion), and consumer segment (Rp 6 trillion).
In terms of deposits, the company obtained Rp 150 trillion of Third Party Fund (DPK), 87% higher than the record from the same period of last year.
In terms of assets, as of June 2019, total assets of Bank BTPN was recorded at Rp 187 trillion. (AM/AR)
