JAKARTA - Net sales of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) was recorded at Rp 14.43 trillion in the first semester of 2019. This achievement grew by 22% compared to net sales in the same period last year of Rp 11.82 trillion.
For information, Antam's ferronickel production volume rose 2% annually to 13,017 tons of nickel in ferronickel. Ferronickel sales also rose 5% yoy to 13,157 tonnes. Ferronickel sales were the second largest contributor to Antam's total net sales, which contributed Rp 2.31 trillion or 16% of total net sales.
The total volume of gold production from the Pongkor and Cibaliung mines reached 979 kg. While sales in the first semester were recorded at 15,741 kg. The increase in sales is in line with the strategy for developing the domestic and export gold market and innovation in various Antam gold products.
For information, Antam is currently completing the construction of the Haltim Ferronickel Factory Construction Project (P3FH) with a production capacity of 13,500 TNi. It is planned that this plant will operate in 2020. (LM)
