JAKARTA - In addition to bank loans, PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) consider bonds as one of the company's alternative funding. However, the company is currently waiting for the right time to issue bonds.
"We are waiting for the right timing. If we issue it now with a long tenor, the interest rate might not be optimum. So, we are waiting for the right time to issue bonds," explained Donny Arsal, Jasa Marga Director in a press conference.
For information, the company will use the funds from the bonds to develop new toll roads and complete the construction of existing toll roads. At present, the operating toll road is 1,041 km long and company target it could grow to 1,200 km this year. (LM)
