JAKARTA - PT Intikeramik Alamsari Industri Tbk (IKAI), a ceramic and tile producer, posted revenue of Rp 34.62 billion in the first half of 2019, an increase compared to revenue in the same period last year, worth of Rp 2.07 billion.
As quoted from the company's financial statements in the first half of 2019, Intikeramik received the largest sales from the hotel sector worth Rp 33.81 billion and ceramics worth Rp 811 million. In the same period last year, the company achieved the largest sales of Rp 2.07 billion.
In the first half of this year, Intikeramik booked a gross profit of Rp 22.88 billion, higher than the same period last year of Rp 140 million. However, the company posted a loss of Rp. 39.56 billion, while in the same period last year, the company made a profit of Rp. 60.90 billion.
The loss for the period in the first half of this year was due to an increase in administrative expenses to Rp 29.38 billion, depreciation and amortization expenses by Rp 25.23 billion. And, the finance cost of Rp 15.55 billion. (LK)
