JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was closed in the green zone with an increase of 0.28% or by 17.25 points to 6,236.69 at the end of trading on Tuesday (17/9).
Six sectors ended in the green zone, led by agriculture (2.95%), infrastructure (1.50%), and consumer goods (0.52%). Sectors with the steepest plunges are miscellaneous industry (-2.71%), basic industry (-0.20%), and manufacturing (-0.20%).
212 stocks strengthened throughout the day, while 181 fell and 259 stagnated. Total trade volume reached 14.46 billion shares with a value of Rp 8.81 trillion. (MS)
