JAKARTA. PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (CSIS) a construction company, managed to generate Rp 19.9 billion in revenue in the first semester (1H) of 2019, 44.83% higher than the figure recorded in the same period last year (YoY) of Rp 13.74 billion.
The company's revenue came entirely from construction services.
Although the company's revenue rose significantly, CSIS has not yet managed to record a profit, and the company is still losing Rp 6.94 billion. However, the total loss is lower than the one recorded in 1H 2018 (Rp 9.07 billion).
Based on CSIS' financial statements, the loss was caused by high expenses. The company's cost of revenue increased significantly by 59.03% YoY, from Rp 11.74 billion to Rp 18.67 billion. (AM/AR)
