JAKARTA - PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) announced its plan to purchase the shares of one of its competitors in the field of internet protocol-based television (IPTV/broadband) in Indonesia. However, his party has not yet mentioned the name of the company, because it is still in the process of due diligence.
As quoted from the disclosure of company information, Anthony C. Kartawiria, Corporate Secretary of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) said both parties have signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). "The success of this corporate action will depend on the results of the due diligence process and both parties reach a mutually agreed commercial requirement," he said.
At present, there are a number of IPTV providers, such as Megavision, OrangeTV, Nexmedia, BigTV, Biznet Home Internet, First Media, Indihome, and Indosat Ooredoo. (LK/AR)
