JAKARTA - Anthony Brent Elam resigned from his position as the Independent Director at PT Sarana Menara Bersama Tbk (TOWR). Brent was appointed in May 2018. Previously, he was one of the directors of PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII).
As quoted from the company disclosure, Irfan Ghazali, Corporate Secretary of PT Sanara Menara Bersama Tbk (TOWR) said Brent submitted his resignation on 15 October 2019. His party will hold a General Meeting of Shareholders to accept the resignation.
The disclosure letter did not mention the reason for the resignation. The decision was made by Brent after TOWR purchased 1,000 telecommunication towers and leased them back to PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT). (LK/AR)
