JAKARTA. PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA) aims to disburse syndicated loans of Rp 1 trillion by the end of 2019, because there are opportunities for syndicated loan disbursements in various companies.
Madi Lazuardi, Credit Director of Bank Mega, said that during the first half of this year, the bank's syndicated loan distribution grew by 152% year on year (YoY). As of Q3 2019, the bank has disbursed syndicated loans of Rp 437 billion.
"The syndicated loan portfolio comes from the infrastructure sector, including the toll road project and the LRT infrastructure," said Lazuardi as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia on Thursday (17/10) yesterday.
Lazuardi explained, MEGA projects that it can disburse Rp 691 billion of syndicated loans in the rest of the year. If it goes according to projections, the company's syndicated loan growth will reach 158%. (KR/AR)
