JAKARTA. PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syariah Tbk (BTPS) booked a net profit of Rp 976 billion in the third quarter of 2019, up 40% year on year (yoy).
BTPS CEO Ratih Rachmawaty said the net profit growth was supported by the realisation of financing for productive pre-prosperous families amounting to Rp 8.9 trillion until the end of Q3. The financing, disbursed to 3.65 million families, grew 28% yoy.
"We've disbursed financing for productive pre-prosperous families since 2010," said Ms Rachmawati in an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com, Tuesday (22/10). "We've learned a lot along the way."
Although financing disbursement grew in Q3, said Ms Rachmawati, BTPS's non-performing finance (NPF) ratio remains at 1.30%. The bank's third party funds grew 24% yoy to Rp 9.03 trillion, while its capital adequacy ratio (CAR) was at 41.1%. (KR/MS)
