JAKARTA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) obtained a new contract for the construction of coal haul roads in East and Central Kalimantan from PT Inti Pancar Dinamika, a subsidiary of PT Trada Alam Minera Tbk (TRAM). The construction of this road is estimated to cost an investment of US $ 60 million.

TRAM as the parent company of IPD is the concession holder of the coal haul road construction. The road link will connect the coal mine owned by a subsidiary of PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) in Central Kalimantan to TRAM's coal mine in East Kalimantan. The capacity of the road is estimated to be able to serve 30 million tons of coal per day.

Iswanto Amperawan, President Director of PP Presisi said that the construction of the coal haul road will be completed by the end of 2020. "With our experience handling national strategic infrastructure projects such as toll roads, dams and airports, we are optimistic we can complete the construction of the road," he said. (LK)
