JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU) performed brilliantly in Q3 2019 by recording growth in all of its business lines. In this period, the company made a net profit of Rp 285.89 billion, 174% higher than the figure recorded in Q3 2018 (Rp 104.23 billion).
As quoted from the company's public expose sheet, TUGU's gross premium income was recorded at Rp 4.93 trillion, 45% higher than the figure recorded at Q3 2018 of Rp 3.41 trillion. Underwriting income was recorded at Rp 492.73 billion, up 7% from Rp 462.26 billion recorded in Q3 2018. Investment return was recorded at Rp 273.96 billion, up 277% from Rp 72.67 billion recorded in Q3 2018.
Finally, the company also made Rp 284.62 billion in other revenue, up 44% from Rp 197.34 billion recorded in Q3 2018. (LK/AR)
