JAKARTA - PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), subsidiaries of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), paid Rp 8.4 trillion in taxes in 2018. For this record, the company was rewarded with the 2019 Indonesian Mining Association (IMA) Awards.
As quoted from the company disclosure, the 2019 IMA Awards was given by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Arifin Tasrif to the President Director of PT Kaltim Prima Coal and President Director of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) Saptari Hoedaja. The company's tax payment was larger than other companies considered in the 2019 IMA Awards.
Saptari Hoedaja said BUMI was the biggest tax contributor in Indonesia. including royalties and export earnings. (LK/AR)
