28 November 2019 15:53

JAKARTA. Grab collaborates with Tamasia, a startup engaged in physical and digital gold trading, to sell gold products through millions of GrabKios.

Muhammad Assad, Co-Founder & CEO of Tamasia, said this collaboration is the right time to develop Tamasia's distribution and sales network. He added that currently, around 70% of the company's customers are millennials living in urban areas. With this partnership, said Assad, people outside of urban areas can also buy gold in digital and physical form.

"The community will more easily invest in gold and also help GrabKios partners to further develop their business," Assad said through an official statement to idnfinancials.com.

Meanwhile, Grab recorded that as many as 2.6 million entrepreneurs had joined the GrabKios program in more than 500 cities/districts in Indonesia. With this collaboration, GrabKios partners can sell Tamasia gold savings, starting at Rp 10,000.

"Our partners are certainly helped by the presence of Tamasia in the GrabKios application," said Agung Nugroho, Head of GrabKios, on the same occasion. "They can sell more affordable gold savings easily," he added. (KR/AR)
