JAKARTA - MNC Group is acquiring the majority of PT Link Net Tbk (LINK) shares from PT First Media Tbk (KBLV) and Asia Link Dewa. The acquisition plan will make PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) one of the giants in the internet protocol-based television business.

Quoted from the disclosure of company information, Ade Tjendra, President Director of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) said that the acquisition of Link Net shares will create synergies in content, network infrastructure, and bandwidth capacity to increase revenue. "MNC has signed a term of the sheet to explore the acquisition of a majority of KBLV and Asia Link shares," he said.
