JAKARTA. PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE) projects that its new contract value growth will reach 15% to 25%, since the market is considered more promising in 2020.
Bobby Iman Setya, Corporate Secretary of WEGE, said that in 2020, the market will no longer be affected by the cycle of the election like this year. He admitted that he was also optimistic that government projects would no longer be postponed.
In addition, WEGE also seeks to look for more new contracts by taking on modular projects.
In order to meet the needs of the modular projects, WEGE will build its second modular plant in March 2020. With this plant, WEGE is expected to produce 7 thousand to 8 thousand modules per year. The investment for this factory will reach Rp 150 billion. (KR/AR)
