ABM Investama’s subsidiary secures a new contract

JAKARTA - A subsidiary of PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) which is a mining contractor namely PT Cipta Kridatama (CK) has signed a cooperation contract with PT Binuang Mitra Bersama Blok Dua (BMB). The project with a value of more than Rp 8 trillion was signed on December 5.

According to Feriwan Sinatra, President Director of CK, this year the company managed to get several new mining cooperation contracts, and will increase again in the near future. "Thank God, CK's performance always improves with operational excellence so that it gets a positive appreciation from all partners. This belief is certainly a motivation for CK to continue to maintain and develop its performance. The latest cooperation agreement between CK and BMB that has a lifetime of mine (Life of Mine) is clear evidence that CK is growing with its business partners,” said Feriwan Sinatra in a press release received by idnfinancials.

For information, the BMB mine is located in Bungur District and Salam Babaris District - Tapin District, South Kalimantan. Later on, CK will assist mining at the BMB location for overburden removal and heavy equipment rental.

The average production of CK overburden removal every year is targeted to reach 30 million BCM (Bank Cubic Meter) so that the average production of BMB coal can reach the target of 7.9 million tons annually. With the Life of Mine contract, CK has the potential to produce 286 million BCM in BMB. (LM)
