JAKARTA - On Monday (9/12), PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) has launched the Centauri Fund. For information, Centauri Fund is a Venture Capital Fund supported by PT Metra Digital Investama under PT Telkom Indonesia and KB Investment, a business unit under KB Financial Group.
Based on information disclosure on the IDX, Centauri Fund will manage venture capital funds totaling US$ 150 million which will be raised from KB Investment, Telkom and other investors.
Telkom will contribute a maximum of 10% of the total managed funds and will start investing in January 2020. The establishment of the Centauri Fund is intended to facilitate investment in tech startups in the ASEAN region. (LM)
