JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) or BNI Independent Commissioner Zulkifli Zaini has been appointed as CEO of PT PLN (Persero).

The decision was announced by SOE Minister Erick Thohir on Monday (23/12). In addition, Mr Thohir has also appointed Amien Suryanadi as President Commissioner of the state-owned electricity company.

“I will meet with them intensely every month to monitor numerous great plans that are prioritised by the government.”

Having served as BNI Independent Commissioner since 2015, Mr Zaini also had a stint as CEO of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) from 2010 to 2013, whereas Mr Suryanadi was Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) from 2003 to 2007. (MS)
