JAKARTA. PT Pertamina (Persero) lowered the prices of some of its fuel oil (BBM) products, in accordance with government instructions.
"The adjustment of fuel prices is a corporate action that refers to the regulations set by the government," said Fajriyah Usman, Vice President of Corporate Communications of Pertamina, in his official statement on Saturday (4/1).
In addition, Usman said the adjustments were expected to encourage consumers to use fuel with higher quality. However, the price adjustments may differ in each region, according to the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBBKB).
In Jakarta, the price of Pertamax fuel was lowered to Rp 9,200 per liter, while the price of Pertamax Turbo was lowered to Rp 9,900 per liter, followed by Pertamina Dex (to Rp 10,200 per liter), and Dexlite (Rp 9,500 per liter). (KR/AR)
