BFI Finance eyes moderate growth in 2020

08 January 2020 12:19

JAKARTA. PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) is targeting moderate growth this year due to the positive prospect of the sharia business.

BFI Finance Head of Sharia Product Deni Nasri said the company will continue providing sharia product education to maintain growth. "We are targeting moderate growth in our sharia business by ensuring prudent risk management," said Mr Nasri as quoted by Kontan, Tuesday (7/1).

As of September 2019, BFI Finance disbursed Rp 30.69 billion in new financing, sourced from 1,500 contacts.

Nevertheless, BFI Finance has no immediate plans to open a new sharia unit branch office as the potential of its 45 existing branch offices is still considered adequate. (KR/MS)
