16 January 2020 09:23

JAKARTA - PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) issued bonds denominated in dollars (global bonds) with a total value of US$ 325 million (Rp 4.55 trillion), which will be used for debt refinancing.

Chief Executive Officer of Lippo Karawaci, John Riady, stated in his official statement yesterday (15/1), said that the bonds have been oversubscribed by up to 4.5 times. The reason, he continued, is because the bonds, which have a five-year tenor and a yield of 8.12% attracted significant interest from investors.

John said the proceeds from the global bond issuance would be used to pay off its corporate bonds that will mature in 2022. The issuance was supported by global bookrunners including Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank. (ARM/AR)
