BTN will issue Junior Global Bond with a total value of US$ 300 million

JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBT) will issue Junior Global Bond with a total value of US$ 300 million, which will be registered on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). BBTN's management and joint lead managers have conducted roadshows to a number of countries.

As quoted from the company's disclosure, the issuance of these debt securities is subordinate, and it is the first offering from an Indonesian company conducted under the mechanism of RegS International Capital Market (Asia and London). The joint lead managers in the issuance are Citigroup Global Markets Limited, HSBC Limited and Standard Chartered Bank.

The total value of the Junior Global Bond is less than 20% of BBTN's equity, which as of 30 September 2019, was recorded at Rp 24.12 trillion. (LK/AR)
