Supporting tourism infrastructure in Labuan Bajo is targeted for completion by the end of 2020

LABUAN BAJO - All tourism supporting infrastructure development in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara is targeted to be completed by the end of 2020. This was conveyed by President Joko Widodo when reviewing the Multipurpose Port which will be used as a special logistics port at Wae Kelambu, West Manggarai, Labuan Bajo, Nusa Southeast East on Monday (20/1).

"Infrastructure will be completed by the end of this year (2020), the new ports will all be completed, the revitalization of the old ports to the ends will all be finished as well. Waringin, the landscape of this city will also be changed by increasing the number of flowering plants such as flamboyant, bougenville, Goa Batu Cermin tours all change later this year," said President Jokowi.

For information, the development of Labuhan Bajo Multipurpose Terminal includes: 120x20 Pier Length, 1 Ha liquid bulk terminal, 600x20 Causeway, 3 Ha Line II Area, 100x12 Trestle, 1.5 Ha container stacking area and 0.5 Ha Non Container Stacking Area.

Whereas the Liquid Bulk Pier Facility has a length of 120 M, depth of pool - 16 mlws, Deck On Pile Construction, Steel Pile, K350 Concrete Quality with a capacity of 1,500,000 tons / year.

For Multi Purpose Jetty, it has a length of 120x20 M with a maximum vessel capacity of 25,000 DWT, depth of pool-16 mlws, deck on pile construction, steel piles, K350 concrete quality and has a capacity of 110,000 TEUs / year. (LM)
