MNC Securities cooperates with Rumah Zakat to manage endowment funds

JAKARTA - PT MNC Sekuritas is attracting Rumah Zakat Indonesia to manage waqf funds in an online trading system based on sharia-based shares. Previously, MNC Sekuritas had cooperated with the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) in managing waqf funds.

MNC Sekuritas President Director Susy Meilina, the development of sharia capital markets in Indonesia today is also directly proportional to the growth of MNC Sekuritas sharia investors. "No half-hearted, an increase in the number of MNC Securities investors as of December 2019 reached 78% compared to 2018," he was quoted as saying in a press release, today (1/21).

According to him, MNC Sekuritas is committed to increasing literacy and inclusion in various regions of Indonesia. Through 134 points of sales, he is optimistic that the increase in sharia investors, including waqf who represents through MNC Wakafku, will be even more significant this year. "With a sophisticated and practical system, having shares and money in the Customer's Fund Account (RDN) can be easier and more flexible," he said.

Rumah Zakat Indonesia CEO Nur Efendi said Rumah Zakat together with MNC Sekuritas made an optimization related to the endowment of shares with investors in the Indonesian capital market. The optimization will be carried out in the form of educational activities, literacy and dissemination of waqf shares to the public in various regions in Indonesia. (LK)
